Is this you?
Are you working at a job that really doesn't pay enough money to cover all of your bills? Maybe your paycheck covers your bills, but there is nothing left over for extras at all? You want to shop on eBay for those cute vintage and British fashions but you are utterly failing to put a minimum of 10% of your paycheck in savings every single week? Got a couple of bills you juggle every other month? Got one or two bill collectors hounding you for payment? And you know you need to pay them, but can't scrape together the spare change to get them off your back? Do you save your receipts and leave the tags on new stuff you just bought at WalMart in case you have to take it back because you don't have enough gas money?
Guess what? It's time to do something different
and you and I are obviously too stupid to do it by it ourselves. What are you going to do if your car breaks down and you can't even get to work to pick up that measly paycheck? What are you going to do if your doctor all of a sudden writes you a prescription for a mandatory one month vacation?
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
My own situation was no different, let me tell you! I had been working at a job that has me totally stressed out on a daily basis. The new department manager was a total bully. I was sick and tired with the insecurity of possibly losing my job for being three minutes late. My fiance got diagnosed with a serious illness. He was still working but facing long term treatment, a lot of medical bills and possibly eventual surgery. My car was 15 years old and struggling to get me across town every day. It had over 225,000 miles on it. I thanked God it was paid for, but I wasn't able to afford car insurance! To top everything off, one Friday, I got a note from my doctor telling me to stay home for the entire month of October.
I had ONE MORE paycheck coming... and then what...?
